REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY EPISODE AIRING MONDAY
Oklahoma City Realtor Simon Shingleton to Appear on Season 9 Episode
Oklahoma City, May 27, 2014 – Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County” enters its ninth season with a big move: Long-time cast member Vicki Gunvalson is preparing to say goodbye to her daughter and son-in-law, Briana and Ryan Culberson, who are moving to the other OC — Oklahoma City.
Assisting the couple to find their new home is Realtor and Oklahoma City native Simon Shingleton.
Shingleton, 33, spent two days last December with Gunvalson, the Culbersons and a film crew from Bravo; he showed the couple several metro area homes and introduced them to life in Oklahoma City. Shingleton makes a brief appearance in the trailer for Season 9, explaining the value of an underground tornado shelter to a slightly stunned Gunvalson; he will play a larger role in an episode to air on June 2nd which focuses on the young couple’s house hunt.
About Simon Shingleton
Shingleton is a lifelong member of the Oklahoma City community. He was born and raised in Oklahoma City, where he attended Christian Heritage Academy. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, he started his real estate career working for a developer in the Dallas metroplex, a job that began as a summer internship and stretched to seven years of residential development experience back in Oklahoma City.
In 2009, Shingleton joined Oklahoma City’s Keller-Williams Elite, where he has become a multi-million dollar producer, with over $17 million in transactions in 2013 alone. In 2013, a home he sold in Oklahoma City made the top 10 highest price list on the MLS, with a price tag of $1.825 million.
Shingleton is married to blogger and graphic designer Rachel Shingleton; the couple have one son. They live in Quail Creek, where Shingleton serves as the Vice President of the Homeowners Association and the Communications Chair. He is also a member of the Oklahoma City Orchestra League and helped plan their 2011, 2012 and 2013 Symphony Show House Events. The Shingletons are active members of Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.
